Questions parents ask

Does my child need a diagnosis?

No. A pediatrician can refer for OT based on what they observe. A diagnosis matters for one thing: it's what qualifies a child for the FES-UA scholarship. Jenna can help you think through whether that path makes sense.

Does OT mean something is wrong with my child?

It means someone noticed a skill that's harder than it should be, and there's a way to build it. Kids who get OT early usually need it for a shorter time.

Will you work with my child's school?

Yes. Most of Jenna's sessions happen in private school classrooms, and she meets with teachers so strategies carry into the school day.

How long does OT take?

It depends on the child and the goals. The evaluation produces a plan with a timeline. Many families see the first changes within a few weeks.

What happens on the call?

Fifteen minutes. You describe what you've noticed. Jenna asks a few questions and tells you what she'd suggest. No forms, no commitment.

Do you take insurance?

Jenna is private-pay and provides superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Most of her families use the Step Up scholarship instead, which covers OT at no cost.

What ages do you see?

Birth through 5 is the focus. Older children are welcome by conversation.
